Maadi is the loveliest part of Cairo and Sam’s Story is the best hotel choice on a quiet street. Only 10 rooms, lovely classic building beautifully renovated. Great pool but pol may not be used by children. Kind, delightful staff without exception. Sometimes a few things lost in translation but always happily resolved!

Ontbijt, locatie, personeel was top
Bij afrekenen werd ons dranken aangerekend voor het ontbijt. Een cappuccino of fruitsap was niet inclusief in het ontbijt, een gewone koffie dan weer wel. Dat laten ze beter weten vooraf, in plaats van bij uitchecken.
Water van de douche was lauw, nooit warm. We hebben het 2x gemeld.

Beautiful renovated space with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Raouf in particular was very helpful and made the experience of checking and everything smooth
The spa is not accessible if you don't book a treatment

the location, the staff especially were super helpful and proactive! I would love to go back to Cairo especially to stay at the hotel again.
