Hostel Rioni

Personnel génial, en particulier Hamish qui est de très bons conseils pour visiter la région. Auberge avec tout le confort nécessaire, des bons équipements (lits, salle de bain, cuisine). Si le cœur vous en dit, des activités sont proposées !

We stayed for 6 nights and felt very comfortable. The hostel perfectly balances proximity to the city centre with a quiet neighbourhood setting. The spacious, bright room had everything we needed, and the excellent bed meant we slept wonderfully. The well-equipped kitchen and laundry room were great. The friendly, helpful staff made our stay even better.

The hostel features a small garden at the entrance where guests often gather in the evenings. While the social atmosphere was part of the charm, we found it lively at times. The balcony was perfect for cooling off at night, though it came with the occasional soundtrack from the garden.

Hamish, the owner, is friendly and welcoming. The shared spaces function well, with a full kitchen available. Plenty of easy street parking nearby, and maybe a 15 minute walk to town. Having a house pup and cat was a bonus but enough of a reason to book. The private room was so big!

The water pressure and temperature.

My bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was strong. Free pasta was appreciated as I had run out of pasta in my previous hostel.

The staff were pretty useless. I tried to get any information I could from them about things to do, which buses to take, where to hike, and they didn't know anything. I knew more than they did just from online research and planning. I was told things like "there's a nice lake to swim in but I don't know where it is". And two of the staff were only interested in each other and kept giving the impression that I was getting in their way - in the kitchen, in the seating area - it was so awkward in this place! I was so happy to leave! Haha
