Zalel Hotels Old City Special Class

Great area and lots to do. Close to transportation links.

Rooms were extremely tight. Music from the restaurant downstairs can be heard in the rooms on lower floors.

Clean rooms and friendly staff, good and fairly varied breakfast. Very good location.

I booked a deluxe room and was given a room smaller than 12 square meters. Rooms are assigned randomly regardless of what you book, according to them a superior room is a step up from deluxe. My daughter's standard room was larger than my "deluxe" room. The receptionist offered to change my room, but I had already unpacked all my luggage and he kept trying to convince me I was wrong, even though I had seen five rooms, it made me feel stupid. They had a table for smokers outside, but the employees would hang out there smoking, so sometimes I had to stand on the sidewalk.
