The cottage is located within the castle walls in the heart of the much-loved medieval town of Conwy with the harbour and amenities on the door step.. 3 steps to entrance.

Bedroom 2: Bunk (3ft) Beds. Gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, hospitality products and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair provided. E-Welcome pack (sent via email).. Enclosed yard. On-street parking on a first come first served basis. No smoking.. This cosy holiday cottage is located within the grounds of the castle walls of the medieval town of Conwy, and is within a short stroll of the town’s many amenities and harbour. A picturesque setting for your holiday and a perfect base for exploring north Wales and the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage is set within a cul-de-sac and sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms. It is a 19th-century, stone-built fisherman’s cottage of a traditional appearance. It is well equipped with a contemporary range of fixtures and fittings, and provides cosy and comfortable holiday accommodation and a welcoming place to return home to after an exciting day of exploring the area. The cottage is conveniently located, with plenty of things to see and do within walking distance and is just a 2-minute walk from Conwy train station and bus stops, giving the option to leave the car at home.
Conwy has World Heritage Site status and is a tourists dream, with its picturesque harbour overlooking the estuary, spectacular castle and great selection of interesting shops, tea rooms and eating establishments. It is surrounded by a beautiful and diverse landscape of mountains, fantastic beaches, rocky ridges and waterfalls. This medieval town is close to Snowdonia National Park and a great location for those who enjoy walking, climbing, horse riding, fishing, bird watching and playing golf, and offers many more recreational activities of a varying nature.
Within 4 miles is the beautiful and popular Victorian seaside town of Llandudno, offering a stunning shop-lined pier, a grand promenade, the Great Orme and tramway, cable cars, skiing slope and a range of shops and places to eat. Other easy to reach attractions include Conwy Butterfly Jungle, Bodnant Gardens and the RSPB Nature Reserve to name just a few, and of course the many magnificent castles in the area. A tourist information centre can be found nearby. Additional places of interest further afield, but still only 30 to 60 minutes’ drive away, include Betws-y-Coed, Llanberis, Capel Curig, the Italianate village of Portmerion and the castle towns of Caernarfon and Beaumaris in Anglesey. Had a lovely week staying here. I was on foot and came on the train, so the location was brilliant with everything you need and want, just outside your door and down the road. If you came in a car, parking may be an issue, but there is space for a small car outside if your luckly. The cottage was nice and clean and adequately equipped. Heating down stairs may be a little cold for some, with the wall heaters not working so well, but there is a lovely gas fire in the front room and the heating upstairs in the bedrooms are lovely and warm. There is alot more to do in Conwy than I thought and can easily fill a week. Bus and train links are also brillant. Get a £7 - 1BWS ticket and you can get on and off as many busses as you like for the whole day and go anywhere. The owner of the property - Jaz, was really helpful and easy to approach and communicate with, always responding straight away when I messaged him. My thanks to Jaz & Suki for a lovely stay
