Situated near the entrance to the community is the Wright Brothers National Monument—a national park and memorial celebrating the Wright Brothers' first powered heavier-than-air flight over the sand dunes of Kill Devil Hills. If you're hungry, order garlic knots and a specialty pizza from Slice or sample some spicy shrimp noodles and spring rolls from Thai Room.
