The Space:
Step inside Clifton House and experience the charm of a thoughtfully preserved 1914 character home, carefully updated for modern comfort while honouring its original details.
Main Ground Floor:
As you enter, a quiet office sits just off the entry—ideal for reading, remote work, or planning your Moose Jaw adventures. Board games are available in the office for family game nights or quiet downtime.
Down the main hallway, the spacious main living room is filled with natural light and offers comfortable seating for relaxing or gathering. This space also features a wood-burning fireplace, adding warmth and character to the home. For convenience and safety, one presto log is provided for guest use.
The formal dining room, easily accessible from the hallway, kitchen, or living room, is perfect for shared meals and conversation.
The kitchen features cork floors, expansive countertops, and a professional-grade Wolf range, making it a dream for anyone who enjoys cooking or entertaining. We provide a starter supply of kitchen essentials—coffee, coffee filters, tea, sugar, cooking oils, and basic spices—to help you get settled on arrival. Guests will find a well-equipped kitchen with small appliances such as a drip coffee maker, Nespresso machine, rice cooker, blender, air fryer, and stand mixer for easy meals and entertaining.
The main level includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms:
- Primary bedroom: 1 King Bed, private ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, and access to a sunroom that leads to the deck and backyard.
- Second bedroom: 1 Queen Bed
- Third bedroom: 1 Queen Bed
- Main bathroom: 3-piece with shower over bathtub
Upper Level
Upstairs you’ll find:

We were a group of 10 (6 adults 4 kids) and this was an excellent place to be. It provided room for everyone and places to have quiet time when it was needed. You could not find another place that is so well furnished with everything imaginable that you would need. We had one issue and the host responded quickly and then did a follow up call later. We had local visitors come by and they were equally impressed and would indicated that they would recommend this place to their future visitors.

The house is even more charming than the photos. It is beautifully decorated including original, local art. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, and there were thoughtful touches throughout. We loved that there are both large rooms for everyone to congregate and cozy spaces to break away - perfect for a large group. The sun room & deck were lovely for breakfast. The neighborhood was quiet, conveniently located, and walkable. The host was friendly & communicative. Staying at Clifton House totally elevated our weekend getaway!

We were extremely happy with our girls weekend stay at Clifton HouseHost Marie and her husband are great hosts and always were quick response. They also checked in with us to see if we needed anything and checked in to see how our stay was and if we had any suggestions. It is a beautiful home to spend time together as family gathering Or a group of friends There were 8 of us ladies and we had lots of fun sitting together in the living room visiting Eating at the long dining room table. our meal prepared in the well equipped kitchen.Lots of laughter in the upstairs media room playing gamesComfortable beds Enjoyed having the robes and slippers available to useEasy 15 minute walk to downtown Activities Also a very quite neighborhood a nice area to go for a walk about to the other character homes in the neighborhood.Thanks for the beautiful home to spend our girls weekend Bonnie

Huge fantastic character home that impressed our entire family. It had enough room for all of us! We never worried about running out of anything. It was well-stocked with little extras we weren't expecting at all! Our family loves the movies Clue and Murder by Death so this house made us sooooo happy. It gave us those vibes. Check in was easy. The house was clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were updated and stylish. There were many seating areas so we had lots of space to spread out if we needed to. The two bedrooms upstairs had their own heating with remote controls. We didn't spend a lot of time there so we never got to use the projector and have a movie night but it was a great room for it. The hosts Marie and Alain were wonderful to deal with. If we need a house for our large group again we will definitely book there again.
