Stone Barn is a stylish, architect-designed barn conversion sleeping six, set in a quiet conservation area of Minehead’s old town. Thoughtfully restored and beautifully presented, it offers a calm, comfortable base for families, couples or friends looking to explore Exmoor and the Somerset coast while enjoying a high standard of accommodation.

The barn combines contemporary design with original character, creating light-filled, welcoming spaces that feel immediately relaxing. The main living area is open-plan and located on the first floor, making the most of the barn’s height and proportions. Here you’ll find a comfortable seating area, dining space and a well-equipped kitchen — ideal for cooking, chatting and unwinding together after a day out. An electric real-flame fire adds warmth and atmosphere during cooler months.

Stone Barn sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor, both with en-suite shower rooms. One is a king-size double, while the other can be configured as either a super-king or twin on request, offering flexibility for families or groups of friends. The third bedroom is upstairs, with its own adjacent bathroom. All beds feature high-quality mattresses, crisp linens and plenty of storage, ensuring a comfortable stay for everyone.

Outside, the enclosed private garden provides a peaceful space to relax, dine or enjoy a soak in the hot tub. Guests particularly enjoy using the hot tub in the evenings, with views towards the church and dark skies on clear nights.

The barn is well suited to both short breaks and longer stays, with fast fibre Wi-Fi, quality furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout. It is dog friendly and well located for walking, with easy access to both coastal paths and Exmoor National Park.

Stone Barn is within walking distance of Minehead’s shops, cafés, restaurants and beach, as well as the West Somerset Railway. Despite its convenient location, it remains quiet and tucked away, offering a sense of privacy and escape.

Five Star Gold rated by VisitEngland, Stone Barn is known for its cleanliness, comfort and attention to detail. With over 15 years’ experience welcoming guests to the area, the owners take pride in offering a property that feels genuinely cared for — somewhere guests can relax, settle in and enjoy their time away.
