These include Appalachian Ski Mountain and Ice Skating Rink, Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park, Tweetsie Railroad, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and High Gravity Adventures Zip Line & Aerial Park. Sugar Mountain Resort and Beech Mountain Resort are both less than an hour away and offer year-round activities like skiing, mountain biking, and scenic lift rides.
