This place is cute, but not very clean or well-stocked, and the check-in process is horrible. The host doesn’t provide a number along with the street name in the Vrbo app, so it’s an incomplete address that you are given. For check-in instructions on the app, all that is provided is a lockbox code, but there are several other steps needed to get to the lockbox including a a magnetic key left on top that you wouldn’t know is there. The place is also not very clean; the coffee maker water container had algae at the bottom of it and the kitchen sponge was so gross we just bought another one. Also, we stayed for 3 nights and were only left two sugar packets and tiny sample shampoo & soap bottles. When I reached out to the host asking for more, she refused, saying that those are “welcome kits that are not restocked”. I’ve never been refused more of a basic supply after being given so little for 3 nights, especially considering the listing states that the place comes with basic soaps. It’s a shame because the place is cute and in a good location to explore Florence, but the hosts could do a lot more and try a lot harder to make it a much better experience overall for their guests.
