Beautifully positioned above the water with uninterrupted views across to Kalamos and the mainland, Noesis is one of three new villas sharing this privileged stretch of coastline. Steps beside the villa lead down to the sea for morning swims and peaceful evening dips, while the elegant interiors combine clean modern lines with warm local stone. Every room enjoys sweeping sea views and the outdoor spaces are equally impressive, with lush planting, a striking infinity pool and a superbly equipped outdoor kitchen and dining area designed for relaxed al fresco living. For larger groups, neighbouring villas Synthesis and Genesis make ideal companions.

Meganissi itself is a delight, its dramatic peninsula and intricate coastline revealing secluded coves, clear water and unspoilt beaches such as nearby Limonari. The island’s villages are easily reached, with lively Vathi offering an appealing selection of tavernas and bars along its charming harbour. Hiring a boat is the best way to appreciate the island’s beauty, whether exploring hidden caves or visiting Skorpios, Kalamos and Kastos. Returning to Noesis after a day on the water is a pleasure, especially as the sun sets in golden hues across the Ionian.
