Welcome to Ted & Breakfast, a stylish East Austin retreat where vintage character meets modern comfort. Recently refreshed, this bright, gated 2-bedroom duplex was featured in East Austin Magazine for its design-forward charm.
Perfect for friends, couples, or families who want to experience Austin like a local: tacos, live music, sunny patios, and laid-back evenings.
The space
Ted & Breakfast is a rare find in the heart of East Austin, offering a bright, inviting layout with bold interiors, cozy furnishings, and an easy flow designed for relaxing or entertaining. The beautifully designed kitchen is fully equipped with high-end Miele appliances, making it just as enjoyable to cook a full meal as it is to grab a quick snack before heading out.
The living spaces feature plush seating and Smart TVs, perfect for winding down after a day exploring the city.
And yes, the name has a story. Ted & Breakfast is named after Teddy, our very good (and very spoiled) Aussie, who inspired the fun, energetic vibe throughout the home.

• Living room: Air mattress for additional guests
• Bathroom: 1 full bath
• Max guests: 6

This was a super cute and fun property in a great location in East Austin. We enjoyed both being close to lots of restaurants, as well as cooking and relaxing at the comfortable property. Note that it is an upstairs unit with pretty steep stairs. (While the listing does say wheelchair inaccessible, it doesn't indicate the flight of stairs. I was expecting just a few steps up the porch. The full flight was difficult for my 79 yo mom.)
