Great location and lovely sea view. It was peaceful.
I hadn’t booked breakfast (my fault). When I came downstairs to ask for a table I was given a brunch menu. I ordered a cooked English as no lighter options were available I then saw there was a residents menu on another table including continental breakfast options. I would have preferred to order from this but because I hadn’t booked a table I couldn’t, I was told. I don’t understand why I couldn’t have a packet of Alpen and a round of toast. Very strange. I will say the freshly cooked breakfast was excellent, just a bit more than I needed.
In the room, the sink drain needed a good descale and clean. Ditto the toilet. An overpowering smell of disinfectant in the bathroom was offputting.
