Breakfast could have more variety for vegans

Lots of meat, eggs, but not much for vegans and vegetarians.

Location was great. Room was spacious with Fabulous view. Bar and restaurant staff were friendly.

Found one of the reception staff unhelpful, and trying to obtain information about airport transfer advice was impossible, Advice is to get the number 10 bus. Also TV in room had no channels apart from a couple with Spanish language.

The room was clean, the view from the room.

The receptionist - Khalid - he was very rude and completely do not understand what people expect from a 4* hotel. Never had such a bad experience with a hotel staff member in my life - I usually choose 4* and this hotel should have barely 3*. The room was outdated and the equipment/room needed renovations walls, toilet. If you are a single traveler I suggest you choose a different option.

*the girl from the reception doesn’t speak english * at the check out there was an extra drinks on the bill that we didn’t have it but we noticed it and they didn’t charge it! *they demand that you wear trousers at the dinner time, the problem is that they don’t mention it at the booking.com , they should mention it, we normally don’t bring any trousers to our summer holidays(beach), my husband had to buy a trouser, otherwise he wouldn’t be allowed to have a dinner there, it would be a waste of money as we had already paid the dinner( half board) ! PLEASE MANAGEMENT, you should mention it on the Booking.com! :/ Also when my husband asked to make an exception(first day) the girl from the restaurant asked his room number, for some reason because of our room number she couldn’t make an exception 🤔

The location, right on the beach. We had a room with a sea view, it was a beautiful view and you could hear the waves all day long.

Managed to book online at midnight & check in half an hour later.

I booked a room with a view to sea , but the room I received only had less then half or partial view of the sea because it was on the side , IS NOT FAIR I PAYD FOR THE SEA VIEW ROOM , again mine was just partial ! happy ?? NO !! NO WIFI !!! , for WIFI you must go next to reception area , I used my internet all the time .

This place was a real find, a bit of a hidden gem! Set right on a beautiful sandy beach with turquoise sea, surrounded by palm trees. The sea at Costa Calma is very clear and perfect for swimming. It was a peaceful place to while away a few days relaxing. The hotel feels civilised and calm, it’s quite a grand design and feels well maintained. My room was huge and had a massive balcony (terrace) with a sea view. There was good choice at breakfast and the food was good quality - everything from eggs and bacon to freshly made pancakes, yogurt, fresh fruit and pots of coffee. There are therapy rooms on site offering osteopathy, massage and various other treatments. I enjoyed both a much needed osteopathy session and a wonderfully relaxing massage. There’s also a jacuzzi and a sauna. The outdoor pool area provides a stunning view of the beach, which I enjoyed whilst lounging on one of the Bali beds, sipping a Virgin Mojito. The Neptune bar is cool, the decor has a fun 80s vibe. On the last night I was there, there was a DJ playing some decent tunes in the bar/ pool area which created a nice atmosphere for sitting outside with a drink.

The spa area (jacuzzi and sauna) could do with a little bit of updating, but it was still perfectly pleasant.

The breakfast was not great at all and the staff around the dining room was very unprofessional! they were making fun of me and my boyfriend (a Gay black & white couple) and ignored us while they were only paying attention to other customers. I thought I was the only one who noticed how they were making fun of people but my Boyfriend also confirmed. I travel quite a lot and I have never experienced such behaviour they were clearing people's plates constantly while there was only one lady who cared about our tables. the other guys were absolutely unprofessional.

Great location! Right on the sea front! Very spacious and comfortable room. The food was good and ample choice.

Due the covid reality there was an upgrade to another place (the same company on the same street). It was very good option and finally we... reserved next/future staying in this new place. This is the best recommendation :) Great breakfasts, close to the beach, fantastic staff (grazias Mr Peepe, Mr Marko & many nice person from the restaurant as well). Of course when the bigger group (organized by travel companies) arrived - part of guests showed their unpleasant, blasé faces/behaviour. But the staff is professional! In compare to another place in FUE we are very happy and thankful after this good time/rest. Hope see you soon!
