Disandt House by Neighbourgood

Thank you to all of the staff at Disandt House for a wonderful night of celebrations! We booked out the full house for one night to celebrate a friend ahead of their wedding. Smart was a super helpful throughout the full booking process, ensuring we had food, ice and glassware for the day and night. We loved dancing with Zee and Phumla in the evening. The hotel is really spectacular with incredible rooms that are clean and tidy. The communal area was stunning - perfect for sitting by the pool and chatting on the grass. In the evening the staff even set up a cosy fire for us to sit around. A fantastic hotel which I'd recommended for anyone wanting to spend time as a large group, and I'd certainly go back to any of the rooms.

The hotel was very attractive and stylish. Our room was spacious with excellent lighting, as was the bathroom and shower. We stayed there to attend various events downtown and the location was very good for that purpose.

I was very surprised and dissatisfied that no hand/body lotion was provided and also no Kleenex. The front desk staff told us management no longer provided these items because guests didn't use it. We found it quite unusual that we had breakfast each morning accompanied by loud religious music. We didn't mind it, but people who are not of the Christian faith may not like it.

Beautiful property and facilities, with friendly and welcoming staff.

Service was inconsistent. Housekeeping was unreliable, with towels and bath mats not always changed and the room once not cleaned at all. Breakfast quality also varied depending on the chef.
