The location was excellent. The apartment was very spacious and was great for the four of us.
It wasn’t very well stocked. Some of the basic supplies were not there. There was no soap or shampoo and only one dishwasher soap. We had expected soap and shampoo for at least the first night. Also the oven kept blowing the breaker.

All about the location. 3 blocks from Rua Augusta by the Triumphal Arch, just perfect. The building, though unassuming from the outside, was very nice inside and the elevator was priceless, as was the air conditioning.
Street noise is considerable so bring your ears plugs. A "cheat sheet" describing how to operate the television, appliances, disposal of garbage, etc, would be nice. The shower in the second bathroom was non-functional, a plumbing issue with the mixer. That was a big problem with time. Also, be prepared to buy all the basics, such as paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, garbage bags, etc. Thank goodness for the Pingo Doce market up the street. That place was a home run.

la situation de l'appartement à deux pas de la Place du Commerce, du centre ville et de toute commodités.
Pour un appartement en location, il est regrettable qu'un minimum ne soit pas prévu (pas de sac poubelle de rechange, pas de 'sopalin', pas de fond de placard tel sel, poivre, etc......) les placards de cuisine en grand nombre étaient désespérément vides de TOUT hors matériel. Si on ne veut pas aller au restaurant tous les soirs, difficile de faire un minimum de cuisine sans être obligés de TOUT acheter (même le minimum) et pour quelques jours seulement. La serrure de la porte de l'appart' pose gros problème à l'ouverture. Il serait judicieux de revoir ce problème, peut-être juste une histoire de lubrifiant ????

La ubicación es muy buena
Algunas partes del piso no estaban limpias, además hay zonas de los baños que necesitan algo más que una limpieza, una renovación o mantenimiento, mucho deterioro en los baños. Una de las duchas es impracticable debido a la gran confusión y complejo sistema de llaves para abrir agua caliente. En el otro baño hay una bañera con un acceso realmente peligroso debido a una mampara fija sobredimensionada , resbalones continuos al acceder a la bañera. Problema de hormigas tanto en baño como en salón junto al mueble de la televisión.
