We had a really pleasant stay at Khaosan Station Hostel! The ladies at reception were absolutely lovely – friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Almost every request I had was taken care of immediately. Excellent service! A refundable deposit of 200 THB in cash is required for the room key card. Drinking water, coffee, and tea were available, along with a kettle, microwave, and toaster. Our room was on the ground floor and had no window, which actually suited us perfectly after an exhausting month of travelling. Everything was clean, including the bed linen and towels. The facilities were very simple and basic, but honestly, who cares about luxury when everything is spotlessly clean? That’s what matters most to me! The location is excellent, with plenty of interesting places within a 10-minute walk. And one slightly unusual tip for smokers: be careful if you go left when leaving the hostel! There’s a rather unpleasant lady living nearby who gave me quite a frightening experience. I almost didn’t survive the encounter! 😄 My advice? Turn right instead. Good to know! Overall, a simple, clean, well-located hostel with wonderful reception staff. We really enjoyed our stay!
