Les Prés du Manoir

The location was great. It is rural countryside though, which was what I was after, but still only a 10-15 minute drive to Bayeux. (If you are after 'walking distance to the shops', this place is not for you : )). The proprietors were very welcoming and interesting to talk to. The room was spacious, bright, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and the bedding was quality. The bathroom was modern and devoid of any compromises.

This was by far the best property we stayed at on our 4 week trip. Our hosts Katrine and Richard have done an exceptional job on their renovation. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and they have truly thought of everything to make your holiday comfortable, easy and enjoyable. The bed was very big and comfortable and the bathroom was absolutely perfect, very spacious and convenient. It is located in a small charming rural hamlet which is a 10 minute drive to Bayeux. They include a lovely breakfast each morning with fresh produce. One of the nice things was you were able to meet other guests from around the world, making the experience feel warm, welcoming and wonderfully social. Katrine is very helpful with suggestions on restaurants, places to visit in the area. Our most enjoyable stay.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The property is even more beautiful in real life than the photos suggest, with lovely surroundings and a thoughtfully designed interior. Although Katrina and Richard only opened their doors in June 2026, they have created a wonderful place where everything feels just right. A tip for a restaurant is Bonbonne in Bayeux

Absolutely nothing! If I had to mention one thing, it would be that many restaurants require a reservation. It would be a nice extra touch if the hosts had an overview of restaurants in Bayeux and could help guests make reservations.

Gastvrouw en gastheer zéér vriendelijk en heel erg behulpzaam! echte huiselijke sfeer...op vraag allerlei objectieve tips over bezienswaardigheden, restaurants enz. maken je wegwijs voor wandelingen in de streek..en de locatie: gewoon top! onze apero momenten op het rustieke brugje waren zalig. Wim

Misschien wat lichte achtergrond muziek bij het ontbijt? Tenzij de uitbaters voor de totale rust kiezen, passend bij dit prachtig landhuis te velde...
