The house was different to what we are use to being over four floors so made it an adventure as well. 😊😊
The on street parking. Difficult to find parking space but found that if you get back after 17.00 there were plenty of places. Didn’t want to use nearby car park at £6 for 24 hr parking.

Location is central Matlock, just slightly up a hill from all the shops and restaurants. This superb Victorian house has been restored to a very high specification.
As there were two of us staying a second toilet might have been useful but really it was one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed in.

Lovely house in a great location. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was very well equipped, and there was a lovely little garden and seating area outside. The area was very quiet and peaceful but within easy walking distance of the centre of Matlock. Lots of lovely homely touches and a wide variety of books provided. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!
It was all great.
