The three pretty bedrooms are off the beamed landing: a large double with room for a cot, a twin, and a bunk room with full-size bunk beds; plus, there’s a family bathroom. Grab your lunch and take it out to the picnic bench on the lawn or fire up the BBQ on the patio, relax and enjoy the wonderful views.

Explore the rolling hills and historic villages on walks from the door. The house is 1 mile outside the small village of Groes, 4 miles from Denbigh and 12 miles from Ruthin. Snowdonia National Park is 15 miles away and the Clwydian Range is 8 miles east. Check out the mountain bike trails at Llandegla bike park (23 miles) and Clocaenog forest (12 miles). Llyn Brenig (6 miles away) has family cycling, fishing and water sports, there’s also a cafe and a great kids play area there.
