Great location! Nice setup with a private balcony. Good communication all along. Single designated parking spot, which was nice and close to the apartment. Had some minor cleanliness things, like finding some popcorn in the pullout couch. Generally clean and nice. The AC split had a little trouble keeping up with the extreme heat, but that is not a major issue and was probably true for most AC units, but is worth preparing for. Not a lot of little extras, just your basic setup, which worked for our needs for a one night stay. Might have needed some additional things if we were going to stay longer.

This rental was exactly what we were looking for. The instructions were clear and concise. We enjoyed the keyless entry and the downtown location. The owners were very clear that the parking was tight, but we managed just fine with our mid-sized SUV. The place was clean, the bed was comfortable, the water was drinkable, the balcony was nice to sit out on to eat our meals. The owners provided dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, plenty of towels, access to streaming services (we watched Netflix), ice cube trays, stacked washer/dryer, and a floor fan. My two suggestions are: it would be nice to have a floor lamp in the living room (instead of just an overhead light), and to replace the remote for the wall unit. Neither of these suggestions affected our stay as it was a perfect spot for us! If we visit Ludington again, we would definitely stay in #206!

Based on the rave reviews I was expecting more from this rental. There are a handful of things I am shocked aren’t mentioned: the A/C is a wall unit in the living room only. There is no A/C in the bedroom and the LR unit can not be lowered below 76 degrees not to mention it is loud. This would be less of an issue if there were working screens on the windows, but the beautiful sliding glass door has no screen and the bedroom screens have slices and holes so we couldn’t open the windows either. Thankfully there was an oscillating fan that we moved to the bedroom that helped, but it would have been nice to take advantage of the breeze to help cool things down. The bed is awful with wells that you sink into and the pillows are so flat they’re useless. Between that and the bedroom being uncomfortably hot we did not sleep well during our stay. Also, there's no mention of the parking situation until you get your check-in instructions. The spots are TIGHT. Hard to get in and out of your car.Positives: Location is nice. Area is quiet. The coffee pot with coffee & filter baskets was appreciated and the iron was a life saver when we needed to iron my husband’s dress shirt (we were in town for a wedding.) The detailed instructions to navigate the 2 entry doors was also appreciated.Overall the rental is tolerable for a night or 2, but I would not recommend if you’re staying longer. The description & reviews are a little misleading; it's a solid 3 out of 5.
