A perfect cottage to relax in after a day exploring the island.. Ground Floor:
Living room: Smart TV, Woodburner
Kitchen/dining room: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet
First Floor:
Bedroom 3: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Air source heat pump central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included, remainder available locally. Highchair available. Welcome pack. . Back garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Front garden with patio, summerhouse, sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking.. This charming cottage is recently refurbished, situated about a mile from Brodick and has a lovely summerhouse to enjoy the views from. It is a super base from which to explore the whole island or even manage a day trip to the Kintyre Peninsula. One of the most southerly of the Scottish Isles, Arran encapsulates the grandeur and majesty of Scotland but in miniature form.
The island has several pretty villages on Arran’s stunning coastline which are contrasted by a rugged and mountainous interior in the north. For outdoor lovers, Arran offers mountain biking, paragliding, canyoning, sea kayaking, scrambling and more; you can even book an island safari! The Isle of Arran is a place where you can find a little bit of everything you would ever want from a Scottish island; an ever-changing coastline, dramatic mountain peaks, sheltered beaches, verdant forests, great cultural festivals and a wealth of tasty local produce.
A holiday on Arran packs in a lot of flavours - taste your way around the island as you try creamy cheeses, refreshing beers, traditional oatcakes, tempting chocolates and delicious ice cream. Book a tour at the Arran Distillery to discover the secrets behind the distilling process before sampling a dram of malt whisky or the creamy liqueur Arran Gold. For a unique experience, take a small ferry over to the Holy Isle and you will discover a friendly Buddhist community, where animals roam freely, including Saanen goats and Eriskay ponies. Lamlash Bay also offers sea kayaking and powerboat trips, so you can explore the bay at your own pace. This is a natural paradise with sightings of red squirrels, golden eagles, red deer, otters and seals.
