This town was inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and there is a dark side of Whitby with ghost walks to both fright and delight. The wonderful Goth Festival takes place twice a year, and keep an eye out for other festivals, such as the Folk Festival, Whitby Regatta and the Steam Punk Weekend.
