He was genuinely trying to help and be kind. He even had the bushes on the terrace trimmed so that we could enjoy a better view of the sea. It was a very thoughtful gesture.
The owner asked us for far too much personal information. We had to send a photo of our ID, as well as a photo of ourselves holding the ID. I honestly don’t understand why so much was required. It almost felt like it would be easier to get into NASA. 😄
As far as I remember, the daily city tax was already included in the price, but we were charged and paid it separately as well. We didn’t want to argue about it, so we just let it go.
That said, the area itself is beautiful and definitely worth visiting.
