Na Palermo relativně tiší část v boční uličce, přitom v blízkosti hlavních tříd. Pár kroků od vchodu byly malé potraviny. Příjemně vybavená kuchyňka, k dispozici kafe, čaj, nealko apod.

Jen takové drobnosti, do ložnice pronikalo dost světla skrz prosklenou stěnu z koupelny, jsme zvyklí spát při absolutní tmě, to je ale možná jen můj problém :) Je vyžadována vratná kauce v hodnotě 200 EUR.

There was no breakfast, but the host had stocked a few things in the fridge so that was lovely. The stay was beautifully decorated, had a spa tub, and the two bedroom/two bathrooms were ample size. The kitchen was easy to manage with the necessary cutlery and dishes. The air conditioning was excellent! The host was lovely and thanked us for leaving the apartment in a tidy condition. The location was great - right in the center of the old town (old building, no elevator)...

I didn't care for the neighborhood when we first arrived - it seemed dirty and unsafe. The building was under construction, so there was some noise. We had to navigate two flights of stairs when we arrived. There were fireworks every night from different locations. I got used to the streets, but there was litter everywhere. Our host said it was safe, so I felt better.

Great location! In the heart of the Centro Storico, close to Via Maqueda, and a short walk to Quattro Canti. The apartment itself is modern and stylish, although in an older building, and was very comfortable and well equipped. The building does not have a lift, not a major problem but something to be aware of. The host had very generously stocked the fridge with some wine, water, fruit juice etc to welcome us, and there was also fresh fruit, tea and coffee. The host, Antonella, is excellent. She was in touch with us several days before we arrived to introduce herself, and we got the check in information the day before we arrived, which all worked very easily. She subsequently came to meet us to complete paperwork, and was immediately available on WhatsApp throughout our stay to answer any questions. She sent us a link that provides a lot of information, not only about the apartment, but also about Palermo, and places to eat etc.

There is a washing machine, but there was some confusion about its use. The information provided in the link the host gave us indicated an additional payment was required before the machine could be activated. However, the host subsequently clarified that a call to her would enable her to activate it for us. Also, the electricity went off a few times while we were there, which is apparently because of overloading even though we were being very careful not to have too many items on at the same time. It’s easy to turn back on at an easily accessible switch downstairs, but it was inconvenient.
