First of all, Peter and Kirsten, who run The Pink House, are simply lovely people. They are very friendly, and can't do enough for you. The breakfast we had was delicious, and very generous! We didn't eat anything at all aftewards till our evening meal!! The house itself was full of charm, with lots of beautiful old furniture and fittings. The chickens roaming the garden add an extra charm to things. The bed was comfy, and the shower strong and hot. We will definitely be returning, next with 2 border collies 👍

The hosts were absolutely lovely and are clearly trying extremely hard to make this experience as positive as possible for their guests. We were greeted on arrival with tea and scones and introduced to the hens while sitting in a lovely garden. They were really helpful with lots of local information and general chat.
We stayed in the Deluxe King room - there is something very important to know about this room.
There is a partition wall between the bed and half of the bathroom. But there are door-sized gaps at either end, so effectively the toilet is in the bedroom. Whilst this may not bother some people, it may make others feel extremely uncomfortable. Although the room is lovely and the bed was very comfortable, we definitely would not have booked had we known about this.
