There is a short hiking path behind the cabins that will give you a taste of hiking in the Black Hills. There is a park bench near the top. We ate breakfast on the deck each morning. Everything was clean and in good working order. The Gaslight Restaurant down the road a few miles was excellent!
It is quite close to the highway, so you can hear traffic constantly. We knew it was going to be small, but it was way smaller than what we imagined.
