Stayed here for one night while walking the Nakaendo. The hosts are lovely people who really care about making your stay worthwhile. The hosts made local food for dinner and we had some beer and soju afterwards.

Everything! Hosts were super friendly and hospitable. They waited on me to have dinner 😢 and breakfast in the morning. So sweet and thoughtful. I was sooo happy they had a 2n1 washing machine. Shower was hot, bed was very comfortable. The view from the room is really nice. The hosts are really cool, they are into vintage collectibles and antiques. Truly felt like I was visiting family in Kiso. ❤️❤️

The owners and staff are very kind people, we only spent one night but it quickly came to feel like home. They made us a delicious home cooked meal for dinner, which we shared with them. We had to leave early the next morning before breakfast, and without us asking, we were given a meal to bring with us on our travels. The owner also has a vintage shop and you can tell from all the nice wooden pieces that fill the house. The house is clean and has an attached lounge and garden area which are free to use. Price is exceptional given the care and quality they put into it. My Japanese could still use some work, but thankfully you will do just fine with English.
