Beautiful setting. Deep in the valley.

Thank you for the well cared for paved paths, we enjoyed the walks. Food was excellent, we enjoyed the Scottish atmosphere in the restaurant area. Next time we'll add fishing.

My wife and loved the location, we wanted a quiet and calming environment and Walkersons met this need. We loved that everything my wife I enjoy doing is on the property, i.e. hiking, cycling, horse riding, and most importantly the spa... we like the attention to detail, like turning our beds at night with the option of the staff lighting the fireplace in our room or having an umbrella in the room. Small but impactful service focused elements, like staff meeting us in the driveway to the general pleasantness of the staff (many places can learn that a smile costs you nothing...) At Walkersons the staff were fantastic. I almost forgot that the dinners we had were great.

If I had to share what we did not like, it would make us petty. For example, some people would have said, the swimming pool water was too cold to swim. Yes, it would be cold because we are coming out of winter and no, a heated pool is not required. The African sun brings on the warmth that we need.
