This is a truly, incredibly romantic apartment. I don‘t think we would‘ve ever found something more authentically Italian/Neapolitan, romantic, and gently isolated, without compromising on comfort and cleanliness. You are located on the very top of an authentic, cute villa-complex. The outside of the apartment might remind you of a typical Italian garden house. The very shape of the interior, with small stairs down to the door and up to the bathroom, already screams „Italy“. The interior is renovated, modern, clean, pretty, and very enjoyable. The water from the faucet is super clean and drinkable mountain water, and it, alongside with putting it in the two large bottles that the host kindly gave to us in the fridge, always gave us a super refreshing drink after a whole day in Napoli. The AC was a lifesaver and kept the large bedroom always in a comfortable state. The bed is incredibly comfy, we slept like babies. The kitchen is super cute and we loved to watch our series on the little kitchen table while eating pizza and cannoli we brought home with us. And the balconies… in the bedroom and the living rooms are two rustical double-doors, and when opened, the magic and beauty of Napoli just fills your view… The bathroom is small, a little warm, the shower is even smaller, but completely doable. The washing machine worked without issue. Shower, faucets, etc also worked without issue. This apartment perfectly fuses the beauty and romanticism of southern Italy with modern amenities and cleanliness. We will in future time our stays in Napoli with the availability with this apartment. We very quickly fell in love with it. It‘s as if it was made for a couple to enjoy together, in privacy.

To get to the property, you have to walk a fair bunch of stairs, up and down. This isn’t necessarily a minus, but something to keep in mind. The metro is only 5 minutes away, but also after a bunch of stairs. Montesanto is more of a working-class district. Although the central and coastal areas of Naples are stunning, until you get there, expect to see more of the Neapolitan people behind all of the tourist facades. The Terrace is shared with other inhabitants, however it rarely was used much. The TV is a little old-fashioned, and did not support smart features such as airplay.
