Berwick on Tweed was a lovely place to visit and The Merchants was a very central place to stay with very friendly host and staff.
Room decor was sadly a bit tacky, screw heads very visible on fake fireplace and shelf brackets in cupboard where tea/ coffee facility was, remained unpainted. Just little details that could make such a difference.
The loo also needed flushing several times.

It was a stunning property, with so many special touches and little comforts!
It suites us very well. The only thing I’d say was mildly uncomfortable was the lack of set up if you need to style your hair. But this is really on the fringes.

High quality welcome pack and hospitality tray, toiletries were provided, beautiful products. Great location, spotless clean and room tastefully decorated, staff member very helpful and kind. Complimentary refrigerated drinks at the reception area.
Could not get into the property at first, had no entry details but the member of staff was there shortly afterwards and gave us our key. Did not spoil our stay.
