The old train station has been turned out to a lovely hotel with several apartments and rooms. There is a specific charm in the place and also a beautiful fjord/ river view from the window. The renovation of the train station is done with a lot of good taste and attention to details. The bed was extra comfortable and the sheets and towels were put on and prepared for us. The bathroom was nice and clean. The heating can be put on by you when you arrive and is really rapid to warm up the rooms.
We liked almost everything! Just a little comment can be put that the fridge in our room was small and noisy. We also had to remind/specifically ask for the entrance code, although I wouldn't think this to be a common practice.

Well restored train station, which was cool to begin with, with pretty views along the river. Quiet neighborhood.
Toilet and shower are separate in a locked room but this wasn’t a big deal.

Location is great and very interesting concept. The host did a great job converting train station into hotel and cafe and saved all the historical heritage. We really liked the idea.
