Our Stay at Orazio 13 | August 24–September 4, 2026 We stayed at Orazio 13 for almost two weeks during our trip to Rome, and it exceeded our expectations. From the apartment and location to the owner's hospitality, everything made this feel like a home rather than just a place to stay. A Lucky Start In Italy, 13 is considered a lucky number, and we certainly felt lucky to have found Orazio 13! Apartment The apartment was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable for two. It had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer, dishwasher, oven, toaster, iron, cooking utensils, and coffee and espresso makers. The kitchen is small but extremely functional. We cooked several times and found it just as easy as cooking at home. Location Prati was an excellent choice. The metro was within walking distance, a supermarket was just a block away, and there were plenty of shops and an outstanding restaurant right around the corner. We also found an inexpensive express bus to the airport, which we highly recommend. Comfort The bathroom had excellent water pressure and hot water came through quickly. We were there during a heat wave, so the strong air conditioning was a huge plus. The Owner The owner was wonderful—great communication, an easy check-in and check-out, and incredibly responsive. He even offered to come by and show us how everything worked. During our extended stay, he checked in to make sure everything was going well and gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. One Small Challenge Finding the apartment from the metro on our first day was a little confusing because we didn't have Wi-Fi yet and couldn't use our map app. Overall Experience Orazio 13 was an excellent choice. The location, cleanliness, comfort, amenities, and personal attention from the owner made our stay truly enjoyable. We highly recommend it for anything from a weekend getaway to an extended stay, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Location of the appartment is great, near Vatican and also there is many restaurants and shops near. The appartment itself is very good. It is clean and very functional for two people. We would definitely use this same appartment when we visit Rome next time.
