The surrounding area is simply stunning! If you’re happy to be totally remote (unless you are comfortable driving a scooter/ getting taxis) then this is the place for you. The stay is very sweet and simple allowing you to fully connect with nature and have time to switch off. The family are lovely who live and own the property. You can have as much or as little interaction as you wish but they are always ready to respond. It is very beautiful and the surroundings make it - the simple stripped back life !

Without having booked taxi or access to a bike you would be a little stuck for any other option but to stay at the lodge. There is little around in the immediacy except for beautiful walks and a couple of local warungs.

Bobby's and Charis' place is definitely one of the most special places we've visited. A small scale eco farm with 2 cabins for guests, with spectacular views over the ricefields. The location is great, in the middle of a small village near Munduk, with a few nice local warungs on walking distance. Nice scenery and waterfalls are also nearby, few minutes by motorbike (available for rent). If you don't feel like going out for dinner, Bobby and Charis prepare the most delicious meals for you. Also, Charis offers great yoga classes (also for beginners like us). The farm has multiple places where you can sit and relax, including a small pool and a cafe. It has a home-like atmosphere and really allows you to relax. The cabin itself is very comfortable; nice and clean, comfortable bed and bathroom, a place outside to relax and enjoy the stunning sunset. All in all, it exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend. Bobby and Charis, thanks again for everything!
