The accommodation was close to where i wanted to be it was lovely decorated out nice and classy

There was nothing to dislike

We loved staying in this unit, its clean, well equipped and has a comfy bed, powerful hot shower, although a tad small. The kitchenette allows for the prep of small meals with small microwave and electric wok pan. We cooked a few Stir fries and steaks while there. It has a nice size fridge and freezer ( that you don't hear going like you do in many apartments). Also the modern washing machine is easy to use and you also hardly hear is going. There are washing lines on the balcony and a few pegs (more would be great ) to dry your washing. Some bigger bath or spa towels would be better. Overall we stayed two weeks and the unit was lovely, convenient, especially to the mall right across the road! and a 5-10 min walk to the seafront and lagoon area. Follow the instructions for getting the key from a lock box, as this unit isn't part of the main hotel chain. Plus there is no parking, but we found that there is a free parking street across the road from the unit and at the side of the mall, where we parked our rental car in the evenings - plus you can just about see it from your balcony too! - see my photo with rainbow - the street is the one behind the apartment building on the right - so a few mins walk from the block your in, bonus hey! Uber from the airport 20-30 $ depending on time of day and demand

There was noisy neighbours next door and the inter-connected door that allows for the rooms to be connected together, allows for noise and light to come under the bottom of the double doors - The agent is supposed to be fixing this after my recommendation. Generally though, you don't hear the other surrounding neighbours. The unit is opposite the lifts, so you hear general comings and goings, but not the lift itself. Overall it was all not too bad - See note below though. There are pigeons roosting above this unit on 10th Floor they are on the 13 floor and so you have constant birds flying past over to the mall front entrance and back , poo and feathers on the balcony each day and people above washing them off, daily, so keep you head in! Not sure if they are allowed to poison them, like they do elsewhere in the world, but their is poo all over the city from them I'm a building technologist and If you go up to the pool on the top floor and look out of the window near the lift, there is so much poo, the roof will be rotting away and if they don't do something, they will be replacing the roof at 13 floors up, sooner rather than later. Prevention is better than cure! So they need to get this sorted out - bird poo rots metal roofing and with the sea salt its a recipe for disaster. The block owners really need to tend to this!!! and fast . Note - If you have never stayed in an inner city before and at high level, then you need to know that you hear everything from around you from below - people talking and yelling below, police sirens, cars, road sweeper at 3am, Curlew birds squawking which are very noisy - so unless you keep the balcony door closed or ear plugs in, or both, be prepared to be woken up! Would we stay here again, absolutely yes, if we ever come back to Cains. Penny the agent was 100% great to deal with and very attentive to my requests and questions both prior and during our stay.
