Room was very dated smelt off dampness and wasn't very clean we didn't stay that's how bad it was

Staff were pleasant, sea view, bed comfortable.

Hotel could be cleaner but was clean enough for my two night stay.

The check in was soulless The room was cold and the beds were like camp beds and the duvets very thin and poor. The towels were like tea towels. We didnt have breakfast and wouldnt have paid extra

It's a good base for sightseeing, views from lounge & dinning room are fantastic, breakfast staff & housekeeping staff are lovely. .

The noise coming from the bar after 11pm was horrendous, bar manager & guest??, playing guitar & shouting singing till after 2 am, couldnt sleep as room right above it.

Room far too hot for a dog,and me! Nobody's fault, room above boiler room and pipes comin up through the room and laundry below too. Just unfortunate we were given that room!

Very little other than the convenient location

I have stayed at this hotel many times before and described it as basic, in need of updating, but comfortable. It is now dilapidated, dirty and noisy. Customer service is very poor.

We loved the staff. They were very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was not very good. Bad lighting, very noisy toilet and a clunky shower.

ensuite door did not close. no sound deadening .no privacy .only washbasin in clear view of next door with no net curtain. shower mouldy. difficult to walk in the room without hitting furniture. no lift. an outdated room in need of renovation and modernisation

Room was stuck in 1970's and WiFi didn't work. The shower had more water coming out of connection to supply than shower head so not ideal for washing. No breakfast included in price had to pay £7 which was reasonable. Could do with updating

Room was tiny. Curtains on back to front. Recently painted & they painted round things as marks on light fittings and hairdryer cable. Artex ceiling recently done and splatters left on walls. Bed was very old with lumps. Chairs were even older snd falling apart. Bathroom was so small good if you want to clean your teeth while sitting on the loo! Dead spider splat on wall. Window dirty from inside double glazed panels couldn't see out. Then again wouldn't want to as was told it would be a garden view but instead it was of the bins and neighbouring house! Walls so thin could hear all conversations from surrounding rooms.
