The location outside the wall was fantastic! The staff was very accommodating.

Our room was very big and we had a wonderful Balcony. We could look at the wall. It was so close. The neighborhood was also very nice if you did not want to be inside the wall all the time. The property was immaculate.

This property was perfect, we drove to Lucca so didn't want to stay inside the city walls and was looking for free parking which this property has. The room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and super clean. Lucca is a short 10 minute nice walk across the grass through a tunnel in the walls and you are almost immediately in the centre. The hosts very friendly and helpful (despite a language barrier). One of the nicest properties we stayed in during our road trip around Tuscany. I would definitely recommend staying here rather than pay through the roof for a property inside the city walls, especially if you have a car.

If I am being picky, the shower took a while to get warm but that is the only negative.
