With its huge, enclosed garden and dreamy location deep within the Cornish countryside, this five-star holiday home is a paradise for families or groups of friends. It’s located in Mitchell, a sweet village with a pub (150 metres) where you can enjoy a quiet evening pint. You’ll be 6.5 miles from Newquay, known for its excellent surfing and lovely beach, where pets and children can run around happily in the sand while you feast on fish and chips.
This beautifully presented home has a cosy lounge with plenty of comfy seating and a Smart TV, so you can relax with your loved ones in the evenings. If the weather allows, open the French doors to let in the fresh air. The heart of the home is the open-plan living space, which combines a kitchen, diner, and a snug. Cook up feasts in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy them at the dining table. The snug area comes fitted with a large Smart TV and a Bluetooth speaker. At night, choose from five sumptuous bedrooms, including a super-king-size with an en-suite shower room, two king-size rooms and two welcoming singles, served by the chic family bathroom. Outside, unwind in the verdant, enclosed garden. Dine al fresco on the paved terrace, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature, while the bubbling hot tub is wonderful for relaxing.
You’ll find plenty of excellent natural sites nearby, such as Tregargus Wood (7.5 miles) which contains waterfalls and relics from the clay-mining industry to discover with your pet. The surfing town of Perranporth (8 miles) boasts a vast sandy beach and a selection of friendly eateries, pubs and shops. At Lappy Valley (3 miles) you can ride a steam train through the picturesque Cornish countryside for a low-key afternoon out.

Helen and Phil were excellent hosts and very responsive to the few questions we had.The property itself is wonderful. Very pretty from the outside with a large garden to run around in. Inside it had every modern convenience we could need for our vacation.It is very easy to get to from the A30 and directions to the house are easy too. We loved the local pub, Plume of Feathers and had 2 fantastic meals there.We travel a lot, and this is one of the best places we have stayed.
