Wander the short distance (150 metres) down to the beach, following the promenade up to the pier (0.5 miles) and picking up some fish and chips en route. A little out of town lies the Southwold Maize Maze (2 miles), a super fun attraction for visitors of all ages, and the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve (7 miles) for great walks and fantastic scenery.
