The beautiful sands of Embleton Bay (4 miles) are a favourite for surfing, kite flying and walks along the shoreline. Discover another golden beach in the village of Seahouses (10 miles), where you can take a boat to the Farne Islands – a marine refuge for wildlife including puffins and seals. Explore nearby Bamburgh Castle (12 miles) and village eateries and pubs and sample the renowned ‘Bamburgh Banger’ sausages.
