The ever-popular Eden Project is just a short distance away (3.5 miles), as is the fascinating Wheal Martyn Clay Works (4.5 miles) and the mystical Lost Gardens of Heligan (9.5 miles). Animal lovers will adore visiting the Screech Owl Sanctuary (9.5 miles), the Porfell Wildlife Park (10 miles) or just getting stuck into wildlife spotting in the Cardinham Woods (8 miles), a vibrant swathe of woodland on the edge of the Bodmin Moor. Naturally, there’s always vibrant sea life to be explored from the coastline and the beautiful beaches of Par Sands (6.5 miles) and Lantic Bay (15 miles) are just a drive away.
