Complete with a private pool (heated October - April), spa, and sweeping sea views, The Villino is a space designed for slow mornings and golden sunsets—a peaceful retreat that captures the very best of Waiheke’s countryside calm.
The Space:
Nestled in the heart of the Onetangi wine valley, Cypress Ridge Estate is a boutique working vineyard and olive grove that captures the true, rustic spirit of Waiheke Island. More than just a place to stay, the estate offers a peaceful retreat for visitors to unwind within a landscape of silver-green olive trees and grapevines.
The estate is perfectly positioned for those who love great food and the outdoors. We share borders with some of the island’s most iconic vineyard restaurants, including Casita Miro, Stonyridge, and Te Motu, making it easy to stroll over for a meal. When you're ready for the sea, a scenic ten-minute walk takes you straight to Onetangi Beach, widely considered the most beautiful stretch of sand on the island.
Whether you're exploring the groves or heading down to the surf, Cypress Ridge Estate offers an inviting blend of countryside calm and easy coastal living.
Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive access to the Villino, pool and spa during their stay and are most welcome to explore the estate grounds.
The Neighborhood:
Located in a quiet neighbourhood and surrounded by vineyards, local wineries, and scenic, tranquil sea views.
Getting Around:
The Villino is 10/15 min away from the bus stop in Onetangi Beach. We have 6 vineyards at walking distance.
Other Things to Note:
Getting to The Villino is easy, though there are a few stairs to help you take in those views. For those with a 2WD vehicle, parking is available at the bottom of the property, with about 50 steps leading up to the villa. If you are arriving in a 4WD, you can park closer to the pool area, which reduces the walk to approximately 25 steps. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you’d like a hand with your luggage—we are more than happy to help

A fab property. Excellent comms with host. Accuracy of photos - what you see is exactly what you get ( we've been let down before with this). Excellent facilities made for an incredible stay.
