Staying at Honey Bear feels like stepping into your own private mountain retreat. From the moment you arrive, the sweeping views of the Smokies instantly slow everything down—you can feel the stress of everyday life melt away before you even walk through the door.

Inside, the cabin is spacious, inviting, and designed for connection. The main floor welcomes you with a warm, open living area where everyone naturally gathers—whether it’s relaxing on the sleeper sofa, sharing stories, or jumping into a little friendly competition with the pool table, arcade games, and foosball. Just off the living space, you’ll find two beautifully appointed suites: a king bedroom with its own private bath and a queen bedroom ensuite, giving guests comfort and privacy without ever feeling disconnected from the group.

Upstairs feels like its own peaceful escape. The top-floor king suite features a private ensuite, a cozy futon for extra sleeping space, and access to a secluded deck—perfect for quiet mornings or unwinding under the stars after a full day in the mountains.

Step outside and the experience only gets better. The wraparound porch invites you to slow down with a soak in the hot tub, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature, or relax in one of the many rocking chairs with a cup of coffee or evening drink in hand. Just steps away, the charcoal grill makes it easy to enjoy a laid-back cookout with family and friends.

Evenings are best spent gathered around the backyard firepit, where the cool mountain air and crackling fire set the tone for unforgettable nights filled with laughter and connection. Mornings are made for taking in the views as the valley comes to life around you.

For nature lovers, Honey Bear is perfectly situated just a short drive from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, giving you easy access to hiking, scenic drives, and endless outdoor adventure. You’ll also love exploring the charming local shops and hidden gems throughout the Wears Valley community—offering a quieter, more relaxed side of the Smokies.

Tucked away yet conveniently located, Honey Bear offers the perfect balance of privacy and accessibility. And for larger groups or family getaways, it’s even better—neighboring cabins Big Sky and Lumberjack make it easy to stay close while still having your own space.
