Come to Truckee and stay in this cozy cabin-style home on the lake and revel in easy access to year-round outdoor activities. Even the family dog is welcome to come along and enjoy the fun.

Your ideal location right on the shores of beautiful Donner Lake means you can step outside whenever you like and partake in activities like fishing, swimming, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. Or just lounge on a public dock and soak up the warm sunshine. Hike the surrounding trails, then make the five-mile trek to town to browse shops or grab a bite to eat. In the winter, head to Sugar Bowl, just five miles away, for powdery fun on the slopes. Or head to Northstar, Squaw Valley, and Alpine Meadows, all within 14 miles.

During winter months, the stairs from parking to walkway can be slippery and covered in snow. There is an incline from the parking area to the cabin, so please use caution.

This home's interior is warm and inviting with wood plank walls and ceilings that rise to a loft, giving the open concept living area a spacious feel. Plentiful windows brighten up the space, and the deck just off the living room provides the ideal spot for relaxing and taking in gorgeous views of the lake and mountains in the distance. You'll have free WiFi to stay in touch with friends and family, and the well-equipped kitchen offers lots of counter space so the cooks in your group can spread out and create tasty snacks and meals.
