KEOS by the sea

Simple clean accommodation with a great balcony overlooking the port and a helpful host.

Stunning large apartment overlooking the bay of Korissia and the busy harbour. Well appointed balcony with big comfy sofas, chairs & 4 lounger beds plus a two-person hot tub. The architecture is bold & dramatic and we felt like we were in a Bond movie! Chris is a mine of helpful local info & goes above & beyond for his guests. He extended our check-out time so we could utilise the room & facilities until the 7pm ferry, which was very useful. We'll definitely go back to Keos.

Everything was great. If I was being ultra picky: the apartments are nearly self catering... but not quite. And with the nearest eateries a good 8minute walk away we would have found it handy to have just a few more facilities in the room to create snacks & breakfasts. There's a coffee maker, sandwich toaster, a tiny kettle and small fridge but it's not big enough for tall bottles of wine or soft drink bottles. We used the bathroom basin to rinse dirty pots but there was no bowl, dishsoap or tea towels, nor a draining board so it was a bit makeshift. And we were terrified of damaging the beautiful Cosentino worktops whilst washing up! There's also no way to clean the sandwich toaster so we felt bad leaving it covered in cheese. The mini fridge is a table-top model & holds 2 cans of beer, a bottle of white wine, a tub of yoghurt & carton of milk then its full. The hotel's free small/standard bottles of water just fall straight out of the door. If you're not intending to snack in your apartment there are a dozen or so great cafes & restaurants opposite and a good beach bar in the opposite direction. We loved Keos By The Sea but just felt the mini kitchenette needed a few more basic things: large spoons, cereal bowls, big chopping board, a small sharp knife, side plates, etc, to fully make it work. But really this is only a minor comment in the context of the wonderful accommodation and based on personal preference for eating breakfast 'at home'.

Clean, fantastic views and sunsets. Attention to small details. Very friendly and accommodating people
