The location was great for Foxton Beach and surrounding areas, close to the beach and a good cafe. Complimentary voucher to use towards the local cafe, which was a good place to eat. Ok for a basic stay, somewhere to sleep for a night.
No basic toiletries provided - not even shower gel, no bath mat, had to take our own rubbish home, crockery was dirty, daughter could not choose which bed she wanted to sleep in, light bulb not working (had to replace ourself), noisy neighbour leaving loud car engine idling early in the morning which vibrated through the entire house. Not a great experience overall. Glad we didn't pay much more.

love the kiwiana vibe - basic but comfortable. thank you! Great we could bring our dog with us
It would of been great to have some basic body wash in the shower and some sugar in pantry for tea/coffee.

A cute cottage, with lots of interesting features
The neighbours have noisy cars which woke me at midnight and at 6am. Not much you can do about this.

Great place to stay. My dogs absolutely loved being able to run around and explore the section. Was clean, comfortable and in a great location.
