We had a wonderful stay at Vakantiehuis Mondriaan! The location along the Gein River in Abcoude offers the perfect balance—a peaceful, scenic rural escape while remaining within quick reach of Amsterdam. The house was spotless, beautifully designed, and very spacious with three comfortable bedrooms and well-equipped bathrooms. Having a full kitchen, private parking, and a lovely garden view made us feel right at home. The host was warm, welcoming, and provided great local recommendations.

Beautiful location in the countryside but close enough to a small village to have access to anything we needed. The house was spacious and comfortable.

Unfortunately we were there during a heat wave and the house was extremely hot at night which made it very difficult to sleep. Some stand fans would have made a huge difference especially in the bedrooms upstairs

I stayed 4 days in this wonderful house. We were all delighted with the place. It had 3 spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs, accessible by an internal staircase. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. The hosts were friendly and gave us recommendations for the area. A beautiful windmill is a 2-minute walk away. There is ample parking. In the village of Abcoude, there is a train station that takes you directly to Amsterdam Central Station. In short, we would definitely stay in this house again. We had an amazing time there. 100% recommended. Thank you for everything!!!
