La Mewali Resort is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Canggu. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed — some of the friendliest people we’ve met, and truly the definition of hospitality.
We absolutely loved the Royal Balinese spa treatment, which was both relaxing and beautifully done. Every team member we interacted with — reception, concierge, bar staff, and wait staff — delivered top‑notch service from check‑in to check‑out. Everything felt smooth, warm, and thoughtfully handled.
We hope to come back and stay again. Highly recommended.

We stayed in Room 803 and really liked the location of the room as it was tucked away in the corner and felt very private.
The breakfast was fairly average. The selection was okay, but nothing particularly stood out, and some of the food was served cold, which affected the overall experience. There is definitely room for improvement, especially in ensuring the food is served fresh and warm. With a few improvements, the breakfast experience could be much better.
We stayed in Room 803 and really liked the location of the room as it was tucked away in the corner and felt very private. However, there is a bridge directly in front of the room, so we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time, which made the room quite dark.
The bathroom doors are also see-through, so for privacy we had to either keep the curtains closed or have the projector screen down.
One other small issue was the lighting around the sink area. It was quite dim, making it difficult to see clearly when shaving or getting ready.
Overall, we liked the room and its private location, but a few improvements to the privacy and lighting would make the stay much more comfortable.
