Excellent location and lovely spacious modern room. Aircon was a delight to have, as was the small fridge for keeping our drinks cool.

The WiFi was a little weak, I had to use it for work for a few minutes and had to flip to mobile data. Whilst there was a kettle and tea (a big plus for my wife) in the room, there was no in room coffee making facilities. But that didn't spoil the overall experience.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Not your typical hotel, as it’s in an old, large building down town in the pedestrian zone (you have to walk into the courtyard of the building to access the entrance). No registration desk, but Tatiana was in contact with me via WhatsApp from the moment I landed providing step-by-step instructions and codes to get into the building and my room (door handle is electronic with a code to enter, then keys are inside). Outstanding communication throughout my time there. Room had 40ft ceilings with windows, decent size room that felt larger, with all the amenities needed for a 4-night stay. Had a small issue with A/C and Tatiana was on it immediately. Five stars for the room, A/C (felt amazing after walking 8 miles in 90° heat), and customer service; 2 stars for breakfast! In the end, I would highly recommend this hotel as it’s centrally located, near many restaurants and stores and very comfortable and safe.

Only complaint was breakfast: meat, cheese, and white bread and coffee, that’s it, for 4 days. I wound up not eating breakfast there. Even though it’s not manned, they can improve it dramatically with a couple add-ons. Suggest putting a small fridge in the breakfast room with yogurt or fruit cups.

Upon arrival, the cutlery and glasses were not properly clean, and the coffee capsules in the room were already used or damaged. The interior looks modern, but the level of cleanliness is rather average to below average, which does not match the expectations created by the high rating. At the same time, it is stated that towel changes and cleaning are only provided upon request, justified by an “eco-friendly approach.” However, this argument feels inconsistent in the context of disposable cups used at breakfast. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor every time it was used - Manuela solved it by giving us more bathroom rugs. In addition, there was a strong and unpleasant smell in the room throughout the stay, likely coming from the drainage system or air conditioning. The initial response from staff was not very professional, suggesting that the issue might be related to us not requesting daily cleaning, which does not explain or resolve the actual technical cause of the smell. When we reported the issue with the room, it was initially addressed only in the evening through another person who appeared informally and was not clearly identifiable as responsible staff. This person arrived around 9 p.m., strongly smelled of cigarettes, and their behaviour gave the impression they might have been under the influence of alcohol, which did not feel professional or reassuring. If this kind of situation were observed in a mystery shopping evaluation, it would represent a serious compliance and service failure. A compensation in the form of a dinner was later offered, and we were told the matter would be addressed the following day. However, this came too late, as we were already leaving the next morning. The accommodation is advertised as private rooms, but in reality it is a shared apartment with very poor sound insulation. Noise from the street, bathrooms, and other rooms is clearly audible.
