Hervey's

Das Herveys haben wir als echte Wohlfühl-Oase erlebt. Der Pool, die Outdoorküche und der einladende Gemeinschaftsbereich waren wirklich sehr komfortabel und sorgten für pure Entspannung.

The staff was friendly. The kitchen is very well maintained for a hostel. It's all nicely decorated.

There was one guy loudly shouting 'yeehaw' all night.

Great location. Spotless for a backpackers hostel. Modern and well maintained. Plenty of on-site parking. Great outdoor kitchen with plenty of fridge space to store food.

The "King Room " is nothing more than a backpackers room with a queen bed. No TV in room and only one in the whole place. Noisy place. You could hear people coming and going at all hours. No hanging space in room and no ceiling fan in bathroom.

Cassandra who was at the reception desk was incredibly helpful. A real bonus to the property. She made our stay good, despite some issues.

It was sourced online as a motel. In fact it was a hostel. Cassandra organised for us to have a King room with Ensuite, for which we paid more. But we still had to use communal dining facilities (nothing in the room) and there was no TV in the room though wifi access enabled us to watch tv on our computer. .. The bathroom was spacious and good in every respect, except that the wash basin was unnecessarily tiny and there was no drip catch on the soap container. ... The door and the bathroom window both let in far too much light from outside. Door needs proper sealing and the bathroom window needs a blind.
