Although small maximum use has been made of the space throughout. The kitchen and bathroom are new (although the former is a bit snug?🙂) and modern appliances have been installed. The bedroom was nicely decorated and we slept well in the bed. Overall we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the cottage.
There was nothing not to like.

Cute, cosy, compact, cliffside cottage full of steps and slopes, just like Staithes.
Lovingly restored.
Excellent kitchen facilities and thoughtful touches like dog bowls and blankets, as well as a welcome basket of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk.
The cottage is lovely but be aware that it is built into a living cliff. Although the best has been made of the space available in Heart Stone Cottage, the shower room entrance is very narrow, which may be a challenge for a larger person.
